Ms. House, Center Director at Kingston Academy, brings over 25 years of experience in early childhood education, school leadership, and child development. She holds a B.A. in Psychology
with an Emphasis on Child Growth and Development and has completed all required coursework for an Ed.S. in School Psychology and an M.A. in Educational Psychology. Additionally, has passed
the CBEST (California Basic Educational Skills Test) the PPSP (Pupil Personnel Services Credential in Educational/School Psychology) state exam.
Ms. House is passionate about creating a nurturing, structured, and play-based learning environment that empowers each child to grow with confidence and independence, while also emphasizing teamwork, cooperation and building positive relationships with others. “Teamwork makes the dream work.” Her philosophy is simple:
“Teach with purpose, lead with kindness, inspire a lifelong love of learning, and encourage children to think critically about the world around them.”
She believes in balancing academics with hands-on exploration to support the whole child, including cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative growth. Ms. House is known for her encouraging leadership style, strong communication skills, critical thinking, and dedication to supporting teachers, children, and their families in meaningful ways.
Outside of school, she enjoys exploring nature, visiting quirky and unique places, writing poetry, and creating joyful memories with her family and friends. She loves discovering fun museums, roadside curiosities, and anything that sparks curiosity and imagination.
Her leadership fosters a collaborative environment where children, families, and teachers feel valued, supported, and connected.
