Omar Solorio holds a B.A. in Studio Art from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and brings two years of experience working with school-age children. He loves being a positive role model and inspiring students to strive for more in both academics and personal growth. Omar’s strengths include strong instructional skills and the ability to break down concepts step-by-step to help children understand what isn’t working and how to improve. He describes his teaching style as direct, clear, and supportive—laying out what needs to be done and guiding students on how to accomplish it successfully. His favorite subject is Art, and outside of school he enjoys creating artwork. Fun fact: Omar shares the same birthday as the famous artist Frida Kahlo.
